Disciples are followers. They study the words and actions of their teacher and apply the lessons to their own lives.
St. Mark’s Discipleship Hub is here to help you do just that – study the words and actions of Jesus, our teacher, and apply them to our modern lives.
Who Is Jesus?
Jesus was a brown-skinned homeless divine-human living in an occupied country. His main actions were healing, feeding, walking and praying., He taught how to live a whole, healthy life with integrity and compassion. He taught about relationships, money, priorities, forgiveness, and freedom.
Courses added Monthly
Being a follower of Jesus is not a solo endeavor.
We need community to share ideas, confirm our understanding and hold us accountable. Although much of the content for these courses is online, the real learning is gathering with others for discussion.
Kevin Carey-Grimm will lead this Bible study addressing the “Texts of Terror” in the Bible most often used against LGBTQIA+ persons. He will show us how patriarchy and homophobia have mis-interpreted these texts and the Love of God transforms them.
Pastor Sarah will lead this video & discussion based class created by the Q Christian Fellowship. Sexuality is a good gift from God that connects us to our deepest, truest selves, God and others.
