Pancake Breakfast & Hymn Sing Sunday

The Methodist Men’s Group will serve you a delicious breakfast of Sausage and Pancakes April 29^th (5^th Sunday in April). We will serve from 8:30 a.m. till 10:45 a.m. so all worshipers will have the opportunity to participate. A Free Will Donation will be collected for the St. Andrews Society. This year the Methodist Men’s Group have pledged to send to St Andrews $1,500.00 which will be matched by a grant from the Feinstein Foundation. The St Andrews Society is where we get truckloads of potatoes that are distributed locally to needy individuals.

Prayer Shawls

St. Mark’s has a faithful group of servants who knit and crochet to create beautiful and comforting prayer shawls for persons in need of comfort. Anyone can ask for one, for themselves or for others. The shawls come with a lovely card explaining that they are made with love for whoever receives them. Call the church office, or talk to Chris, our new Health Minister, to learn where to get one for someone you love.

St. Mark’s UMC proudly presents the 5th annual Christmas Xtravagannnnnza!!!!! This Sunday, December 18th at 2:00 PM in the sanctuary. Come and celebrate the birth of Jesus as the Chancel Choir, Children’s Choir, Alpha Ringers, Beta Ringers, Joy Chimers and more share the Christmas story through song. There will be treats afterward, served by the Youth of St. Mark’s. There is no cost for this Xtravagannnnnza!!!!! A free-will offering will be taken to assist the Youth in the “Circle of 12″ Habitat for Humanity build in 2012.
